Contact us
Tell us what is happening and where on the coast you are. Both matter here: the ferry and the length of the Malindi Road mean the right advice sometimes is not to set off at all, but to let us come to you.
If your animal is overheating, do not drive around looking for us
Get it into shade, pour cool (not iced) water over the whole body, get air moving across the wet coat, and ring us on the way. Cooling started at home changes the outcome more than anything we can do after a hot half-hour in a car.
Where we are
Clinic address confirmed when you bookMombasa, Kenya
We confirm the exact clinic address and directions when you book, so nobody is driving the Malindi Road towards a pin that turns out to be wrong.

How far we travel, and how long it takes
This coastline is strung along one road with a ferry in the middle, so travel time matters more here than distance does. Rough guide, outside the worst of the traffic:
- Nyali and Mkomani. Quick, but everything crosses the Nyali Bridge, which is the pinch point morning and evening.
- Bamburi and Shanzu. Straightforward along the Malindi Road, longer than it looks on a map at peak.
- Mtwapa. The furthest we go regularly. Booked as part of a block on a given day rather than singly, so tell us early.
- Tudor, Kizingo and Old Town. On the island. The Makupa Causeway governs the timing and it is busy through the middle of the day.
- Likoni and south. The ferry decides everything. Ring as you join the queue, not after you cross.
We would rather give you a realistic window than a time we cannot keep. If an appointment matters, tell us and we will build the day around it.
